Sisodia claims amid CBI investigation:
Message came that come to BJP, we will close the case; BJP protest outside Kejriwal's house
After allegations of corruption in Delhi's new liquor policy, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who came under the CBI investigation, has made a big allegation on the BJP. Sisodia said that BJP has offered him to break AAP and join BJP.
Sisodia has said in a press conference that BJP's message has come to me that you break and come to BJP, all CBI ED cases will be closed. My answer to BJP is I am a descendant of Maharana Pratap, I am Rajput. I will cut off my head but will not bow down in front of the corrupt-conspirators.
After this, BJP workers have started protest outside Kejriwal's house regarding the liquor scam. BJP is demanding the sacking of Manish Sisodia from the post of Deputy CM of Delhi.
AAP told Sisodia a descendant of Maharana Pratap.
Earlier, the Aam Aadmi Party played the caste card regarding Sisodia's CBI investigation. The party described Sisodia as a descendant of Maharana Pratap. In this matter, AAP's National Joint General Secretary and Gujarat leader Isudan Gadhvi first commented on social media on Sunday. He wrote that the BJP is harassing Manish Sisodia, the descendant of Maharana Pratap, on false allegations. Due to this there is anger among the Rajput youth of Gujarat.
In a few days more than 5000 Rajput youth will join the party. Arvind Kejriwal also took this matter forward. Earlier on Saturday, party spokesperson Sanjay Singh also hit back at Union Minister Anurag Thakur by calling Sisodia a descendant of Maharana Pratap.
It is being told that due to the elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh this year, the party is defending Sisodia by calling him honest and good education minister, but is also trying to take advantage of his caste. The party hopes that it can benefit from the sympathy of Rajputs in Gujarat.
Another case registered for the purchase of low-floor buses,
CBI has given another blow to the Delhi government. Now the investigating agency has registered a preliminary inquiry into the allegations of alleged corruption in the purchase of 1000 low-floor buses. The inquiry has been registered on the reference of the Union Home Ministry. The Delhi government had denied "allegations" of corruption in bus purchases and accused the central government of using the CBI to "harass" it. In June, a three-member committee constituted by former Lt Governor Anil Baijal had found procedural "flaws" in the annual maintenance contract for procurement of buses and recommended rectification.
Sisodia said - Lookout circular against me
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said - CBI has issued a lookout circular against him. All the raids failed. Nothing found. Now you have issued the lookout circular. What is this prank? I am traveling in Delhi. Tell me where to come According to sources, the CBI has handed over the FIR and documents in this case to the ED.
Sent circulars to 8 people, not Sisodia,
the CBI told on Sunday that the sorting of documents is going on. Lookout circulars were issued against 8 people involved in the FIR of the scam. However, the names of Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and three former officers of the Excise Department are not there. No circular has been issued against him.
